That is encouraging. It suggests baseline imaging access is often functioning.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">But for the remaining respondents, delays appear around advanced imaging and interpretation: MRI delays were selected by 18.8%, CTA access by 13.8%, radiology turnaround time by 11.2%, and CT scanner availability by 5.0%.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This pattern matters. The bottleneck is not always the scanner. Sometimes it is the need for added certainty.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Wake-up stroke, posterior circulation suspicion, extended time windows, mild deficits, or unclear onset may require more than a simple scan. The decision slows when the team needs to determine whether treatment remains beneficial, safe, and defensible.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In practice, imaging is both a tool and a threshold. It helps resolve uncertainty, but when uncertainty is complex, imaging workflows must be designed for speed as well as accuracy.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Hemorrhagic Stroke Outcomes Depend on Readiness<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For hemorrhagic stroke, the leading factor limiting optimal outcomes was late presentation, selected by 42.5%. ICU or critical care availability followed at 20.0%, access to reversal agents at 17.5%, blood pressure control challenges at 11.2%, and limited neurosurgical access at 8.8%.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This shows that hemorrhagic stroke outcomes are shaped by readiness.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The first issue is still time. Unclear or mixed etiology followed at 16.2%, while inadequate follow-up was selected by 8.8%.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This finding is important because acute stroke care is structured. Post-discharge prevention is lived in the real world.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Patients need blood pressure control, lipid management, diabetes care, anticoagulation or antiplatelet adherence when appropriate, lifestyle support, follow-up, education, and clarity on stroke etiology. But outside the hospital, these steps depend on continuity, access, patient understanding, affordability, family support, and primary care coordination.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Neurologists were only moderately confident in this handoff. About 57.5% said they were moderately confident that patients would receive intended secondary prevention and follow-up, while 10.0% were slightly confident and 2.5% were not confident.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">That means prevention is not only a prescription issue. It is a continuity issue.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Where Guidelines Feel Least Complete<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When asked what stroke guidelines fail to adequately address in real-world practice, 32.5% selected borderline and uncertain cases. The problem is not simply whether protocols exist.
